Job Description
JD- Consultant – Techno Revenue
The primary job would be to provide IT consultancy services to the e Telecom Transformation (eTT) Centre, an IBV of CDOT which has been assigned the task of making Digital by Design compliance of the new Telecommunication Act 2023 of Department of Telecom and also unification of DoT’s various portals.
Work involves understanding telecom business processes from the concerned DoT wings, analyze, reengineer and help in IT solution designing and DPDP act/rules compliance. You will be required to work closely on planning for digital transition of paper-based processes, identify digital process gaps and implementation strategies in the new unified software solution to bridge the gap. You would be working in close coordination with the DoT officials and eTT centre Management.
You'll mainly contribute your skills at DPDP act/rules implementation, oversee IT implementation, reports generation and do analysis using AI based techniques for related portals being managed/developed by IBV of CDOT.
Key Responsibilities

- Participate in engagements that involves DPDP act/rules implementation and compliance, Transformation on existing processes, Digital implementation/AI Governance, Performance and Value Management, Regulatory Compliance.
- Work effectively as a team member, sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication, while providing updates to Management
- Participate and assist in preparing for meetings with DoT wings MeiTY/NIC etc.– minutize, analyze and explore implementation procedure.
- Develop and maintain productive working relationships with all and build strong internal relationships within Consulting team and with other services across the organization
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline
- 5+ years of experience of working with a reputed firm as a consultant/Analyst OR equivalent.
- Interested in business process re-engineering and digitalization.
- Experience of engagements that involve Transformation, Performance and Value Management, Regulatory Compliance and Global Business Services.
- Experience of working as a team member, sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication, and coordinating subordinate while provide updates to Management or above as appropriate.
- Good understanding of Business Value Chain and IT finance/taxation related software applications are an advantage.
- Knowledge of DPDP act/rules implementation, is an advantage.
- Excellent skills in both written and verbal communication.
- Strong leadership, teamwork, across-disciplines and countries collaboration.
- Strong project management with multiple projects and diverse team members.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem solving skills, presentation and communication skills.
- Knowledge about sharing of Telecom revenue by Telecom operators with Department of Telecommunications
