**Role \& Responsibilities*** + Working experience in insurance reporting, including analyzing and visualizing data. + Connect various data sources, import and transform data for Business Intelligence purposes. + Build BI solutions while leveraging data analysis techniques and industry best practices. + Develop, publish, and schedule Power BI reports in alignment with business requirements. + Design visual reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards using Power BI Desktop + Apply transformations, filters, prompts, calculated fields, sets, groups, parameters, graphs, and forecasts effectively in Tableau. + Gather, refine, and translate complex business requirements into reporting solutions. + Exhibit advanced statistical and analytical capabilities to derive meaningful insights. + Communicate findings effectively through compelling data visualizations and storytelling.
**Qualifications*** + Strong experience in Power BI development. + Proficiency in SQL programming, including advanced SQL writing skills. + Solid understanding of relational and dimensional data models. + Demonstrated ability to lead a team and provide technical direction. + Knowledge of data visualization best practices and user experience design is a plus. + Excellent analytical, organizational, prioritization, and oral/written communication skills.
**Good\-to\-Have Skills*** + Familiarity with Tableau and Cognos for advanced BI and reporting capabilities. + Experience with Tableau, including effective spreadsheet modeling and advanced functionalities (date, string, numeric calculations, etc.). + Proficiency in DevOps tools and practices (e.g., Jenkins, Git) with experience in CI/CD pipelines.
