The Opportunity

The Employee Relations team in Paris is tasked with building trust, managing critical dialogue, and ensuring the company operates with complete legal confidence. We are a strategic function embedded at the heart of the business, passionate about protecting Ogury's reputation and operational continuity in one of the world's most complex regulatory environments. With deep expertise in French labor law and international compliance, your mission will be to transform legal complexity into competitive advantage—ensuring our stakeholder relationships are robust, our practices are bulletproof, and our teams feel heard and valued.

Key Responsibilities

  • Orchestrate and own the company's social dialogue strategy—manage CSE meetings, union relationships, and local negotiations with the confidence of a strategic advisor, not an administrator
  • Drive legal compliance across all HR practices; conduct rigorous legal research to secure the company's position and ensure all practices align with French labor law and collective agreements
  • Build and maintain flawless governance frameworks—prepare mandatory social reports (BDESE, gender equality index), set agendas, draft convocations, ensure minutes are accurate and archived
  • Serve as the central intelligence function for employment law; monitor French and international legal developments and disseminate critical alerts to leadership on changes impacting the business
  • Extend compliance expertise beyond borders—benchmark legal obligations in subsidiary locations, conduct international HR reviews, and coordinate with external counsel to ensure consistent standards
  • Own the data—manage complex datasets, maintain rigorous trackers, and deliver clear analysis and insights to inform strategic HR decisions

What you will bring to Ogury

  • Deep expertise in French labor law—you have a Master's degree in Labor Law (Droit Social) or equivalent experience, and a thorough command of the Code du Travail and recent reforms
  • Native French fluency for legal drafting; proficient in English to manage international dimensions of the role
  • Analytical rigor and attention to detail—you manage complex data flawlessly, thrive with trackers and regulatory datasets, and catch what others miss
  • A strategic mindset—you see labor relations not as compliance checkboxes but as competitive advantage; you think several moves ahead and anticipate business implications
  • Skilled at building relationships across levels—from union delegates to senior executives to operational teams, you adapt your communication style and earn trust through transparency and competence
  • Brings a proactive, ownership mindset; you identify risks before they escalate and take initiative to solve problems without waiting to be prompted
  • Passionate about creating a culture where social dialogue is constructive, honest, and builds lasting trust with all stakeholders
