Job Description:
The Operations Manager is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the resort, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction, and managing a team of staff members.
This role Operations Manager in overseeing all departments, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, food and beverage, and guest services. The Assistant Manager is a key part of ensuring the smooth running of the resort while providing excellent service and upholding the resort’s standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete day-to-day operations of the water park and 15-room accommodation facility.
- Ensure all rides, slides, pools, changing rooms, washrooms, guest areas and facilities are operational and well maintained.
- Ensure strict implementation of safety procedures, SOPs and emergency protocols.
- Supervise and coordinate lifeguards, housekeeping, maintenance, security, front office, F&B and other operational teams.
- Prepare staff duty rosters and ensure adequate manpower during weekends, holidays and peak periods.
- Conduct daily operational, safety and facility inspections.
- Ensure proper water quality, hygiene, cleanliness and sanitation standards.
- Oversee all 15 guest rooms, including room readiness, cleanliness, maintenance and guest service.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms and common areas are maintained to a high standard.
- Handle guest complaints and ensure prompt and professional resolution.
- Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance of rides, pools, pumps, filtration systems, water treatment systems, rooms and other facilities.
- Ensure timely resolution of operational breakdowns and minimize downtime.
- Coordinate with F&B, ticketing, reservations, security and other departments for smooth guest operations.
- Monitor staff attendance, performance, discipline, grooming and productivity.
- Conduct regular staff briefings, training and safety meetings.
- Monitor operational expenses and identify opportunities for cost control and efficiency.
- Maintain daily and monthly operational reports covering park footfall, room occupancy, incidents, complaints, maintenance and staffing.
- Manage emergency situations effectively and ensure proper incident reporting.
- Ensure compliance with applicable safety, hygiene, health and statutory requirements.
- Work closely with senior management to achieve operational, service and business targets.
Location: Mansar, Maharashtra
Education: Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management is an asset or Graduates bachelor degree and/or diploma in hotel or other related field. Computer Knowledge, MS office.
