About the role
OMNES is a contemporary womenswear brand bringing together thoughtful design, accessible style and a more responsible approach to fashion.
We’re looking for a hands-on Assistant Store Manager to help launch and lead our new flagship. Working alongside the Store Manager, you’ll help build a motivated team, deliver a welcoming & elevated client experience and turn commercial priorities into clear daily actions. You’ll lead by example on the shop floor and take responsibility for the store in the Store Manager’s absence.
What you’ll do
- Support the Store Manager with daily operations, sales performance and team leadership.
- Deliver personalised service, styling advice and confident product recommendations.
- Build lasting customer relationships and coach the team to do the same.
- Monitor sales, conversion, average transaction value and units per transaction, using results to identify practical improvements.
- Lead daily briefings, organise shop-floor coverage and keep priorities clear.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, training and ongoing performance feedback.
- Maintain strong visual merchandising, fitting-room and housekeeping standards.
- Oversee deliveries, replenishment, stock accuracy and loss-prevention procedures.
- Handle customer concerns and resolve issues professionally.
- Support rotas, opening and closing, cash management and store procedures.
- Help prepare the store for opening and establish consistent working routines.
- Take ownership of the store in the Store Manager’s absence.
What we’re looking for
- Experience as an Assistant Store Manager, Deputy Manager or an experienced Supervisor ready for the next step.
- A strong fashion retail background, ideally in contemporary or premium womenswear.
- Proven experience leading, coaching and supporting a team.
- Commercial awareness and confidence using retail KPIs.
- A genuine interest in styling, customer relationships and the OMNES brand.
- Strong organisation, sound judgement and a practical approach to solving problems.
- Willingness to sell, support deliveries and take ownership of everyday store tasks.
- Availability to work weekends and across store trading hours.
