We are looking for
Regional Commodity Manager
at one of our locations in APAC region - China (Shanghai/Taicang)
Your tasks:

Implementation of the Commodity Procurement tasks to ensure the defined and agreed goals and objectives for the responsible commodity

Supporting and managing regional responsible commodity within the Purchasing organization by means of approved KPI's
-
Development of regional commodity strategies in cooperation with Global Commodity Manager
-
Investigation and monitoring trends for responsible commodities
-
Price negotiations on a regular basis for operating business according to the standard operation procedures (SOP's)
-
Supplier management and development on defined supplier panel (SSC)
-
Escalation management
-
Develop "Awarding design" and bundling with final negotiation / awarding of new parts with procurement project managers

Support in optimization of procurement processes
-
Contract management with suppliers
-
Master’s Degree in Business Administration/Engineering/Project Management or equivalent educational background

Cross functional Business Experience
-
Functional Business Experience in Procurement
-
Working Experience in a Global Matrix Organization
-
Working Experience in Process Development
-
Experience in automotive industry is preferred
-
Fluent Chinese and English knowledge
-
Willingness to travel (max. 20-30% annually)
