**Job Summary**
We are seeking an experienced **Performance and Resilience Testing Engineer** to join our Quality Engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, executing, and analyzing performance and resilience testing strategies across mobile, web, and API\-based applications. The candidate should possess strong hands\-on experience with performance testing tools such as **Grafana k6** and **NeoLoad**, along with a deep understanding of system behavior under load, scalability, reliability, and fault tolerance.
This role requires close collaboration with development, QA, DevOps, infrastructure, and product teams to ensure applications meet performance, stability, and resilience objectives before production deployment.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and implement comprehensive performance and resilience testing strategies for web, mobile, and API platforms. * Develop and maintain reusable performance test scripts using Grafana k6, NeoLoad, and other relevant tools. * Execute various types of performance tests, including: * Load Testing * Stress Testing * Endurance/Soak Testing * Scalability Testing * Capacity Testing * Spike Testing * Design and execute resilience and fault\-injection tests to validate system reliability and recovery capabilities. * Analyze performance bottlenecks across application, database, network, and infrastructure layers. * Monitor system performance metrics and generate actionable recommendations for optimization. * Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to identify root causes and improve system performance. * Create detailed performance test reports, dashboards, and executive summaries. * Participate in performance tuning initiatives and capacity planning exercises. * Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous quality assurance. * Establish performance baselines, service\-level objectives (SLOs), and acceptance criteria.
**Required Skills \& ExperienceTechnical Skills**
* Strong hands\-on experience in performance testing of enterprise applications. * Expertise in: * Grafana k6 * NeoLoad * Experience testing: * Web Applications * Mobile Applications * RESTful APIs * Microservices Architectures * Strong knowledge of: * HTTP/HTTPS Protocols * API Performance Testing * Distributed Systems * Cloud\-Based Applications * Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as: * Grafana * Prometheus * ELK Stack * Dynatrace * AppDynamics * New Relic * Understanding of database performance analysis and optimization. * Experience with CI/CD tools and automation frameworks. * Familiarity with containerized environments and cloud platforms is an advantage.
Resilience Testing Skills
* Experience in designing and executing resilience testing scenarios. * Knowledge of fault injection and chaos engineering principles. * Ability to validate: * System Recovery * Failover Mechanisms * High Availability * Disaster Recovery Readiness * Experience identifying single points of failure and system bottlenecks.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. * Relevant certifications in performance testing, quality engineering, cloud technologies, or DevOps are an added advantage.
Preferred Experience
* 5\+ years of experience in performance and non\-functional testing. * Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. * Experience in Banking, Financial Services, FinTech, Telecom, E\-Commerce, or large\-scale digital platforms is preferred. * Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is desirable.
