We're looking for a passionate, creative and highly organised person, with Marketing Specialist experience or similar, to join our in-house marketing team at Ozdare in South Melbourne.

The Role
This is a hands-on, varied and exciting marketing role where no two weeks are the same.
As Ozdare's inhouse Marketing, Events and PR Specialist, you'll help bring our brands to life through engaging campaigns, unforgettable events, influencer partnerships and PR initiatives.
You'll work closely with our Marketing, Sales and Education teams, as well as global brand partners, agencies, influencers and industry creatives, to deliver campaigns that build awareness, create excitement and drive results.
We're looking for someone who is proactive, creative, organised and confident, with the ability to take ownership of projects, juggle competing priorities and make things happen.
Based at our South Melbourne Academy, you'll report directly to the Marketing Manager and be part of a collaborative in-house marketing team.
The role also offers opportunities to attend and manage exciting events and activations across Australia, with occasional interstate travel required.
What You'll Be Doing
Events & Brand Activations
- Plan and deliver exciting brand events, influencer experiences, product launches, industry shows and education activations.
- Manage event planning from concept through to execution, including budgets, suppliers, timelines and logistics.
- Work with talented hairdressers, brand ambassadors, influencers and creative partners to deliver memorable brand experiences.
- Attend events and activations to ensure everything runs smoothly and delivers against our objectives.
Influencer & Ambassador Marketing
- Help develop and execute influencer and brand ambassador campaigns across our key brands.
- Identify and build relationships with relevant influencers, content creators and industry talent.
- Manage influencer briefs, deliverables, timelines and campaign reporting.
- Identify creative opportunities to generate engaging content and build brand awareness.
Marketing Campaigns
- Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, PR, events and partnerships.
- Work closely with our Social Media Lead and wider Marketing Team to bring campaigns to life.
- Develop creative briefs and coordinate campaign assets, content and communications.
- Ensure campaigns are delivered on time, on brand and aligned with commercial objectives.
PR & Brand Partnerships
- Work with PR agencies, media partners and industry contacts to generate brand exposure and coverage.
- Coordinate product seeding, media opportunities, partnerships and brand collaborations.
- Identify new opportunities to build awareness and strengthen the profile of our brands.
- Track campaign results and provide insights to help improve future activity.
About You
You're someone who loves marketing, has great ideas and, most importantly, knows how to turn those ideas into action.
You'll bring:
- A qualification in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field.
- Previous experience in a marketing role, ideally within beauty, haircare, fashion, lifestyle or a related industry.
- Proven experience planning and managing events from start to finish.
- Experience working with influencers, content creators or brand ambassadors.
- Strong project management and organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Confidence working with agencies, suppliers and a range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A creative mindset combined with a strong commercial focus.
- The ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines and work independently.
- A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to get involved and make things happen.
Experience in the hair or beauty industry would be a bonus, but a genuine passion for the industry is just as important.
