About JTR Digital
JTR Digital is a fast-growing specialist performance marketing business working with ambitious, high-growth brands across the UK.
Our clients operate fast-paced online businesses, with several generating multi-seven-figure annual revenues. Their marketing moves quickly, campaigns change constantly, and no two weeks look exactly the same.
We've built our reputation by becoming specialists in our sector rather than trying to be everything to everyone.
We're now looking for a Paid Ads Manager to join us at an important stage of our growth.
This is a focused performance marketing role centred around Meta Ads campaign building, campaign management, performance analysis and reporting.
You'll work closely with the founder, our creative strategist and the wider team to ensure campaigns are built correctly, performance is monitored closely and learnings from the ad account are fed directly back into our creative strategy.
You'll be managing paid social activity across a portfolio of successful client accounts, so we're looking for somebody who is highly organised, comfortable working at pace and confident managing multiple campaigns at the same time.
What you'll be doing
Your core responsibilities will include:
- Building and launching Meta advertising campaigns across multiple client accounts
- Managing campaign budgets, targeting, placements and optimisation settings
- Monitoring campaign performance on a daily basis
- Identifying winning ads, creatives, messaging and angles
- Identifying underperforming campaigns and areas that require attention
- Analysing advertising data to understand what is driving performance
- Feeding winning creative insights back to our Creative Strategist
- Communicating key performance trends and learnings to the wider team
- Producing clear and professional client reports
- Using previous campaign performance to improve future campaign builds
- Maintaining accurate internal records of campaign activity and performance
The role is primarily focused on Meta Ads, so strong experience with Facebook and Instagram advertising is important.
Experience with additional paid advertising platforms (such as TikTok)n would be beneficial, but isn't essential.
What we're looking for
We're looking for somebody with hands-on experience managing paid social campaigns, ideally within a marketing or performance marketing agency.
You should be comfortable working directly inside Meta Ads Manager and be able to demonstrate that you've personally built and managed campaigns rather than simply supported somebody else who did.
Marketing agency experience is strongly preferred.
Because you'll be working across multiple clients, you need to be comfortable switching between accounts, campaigns and priorities without losing attention to detail.
We're particularly interested in people who have experience with:
- Meta Ads Manager
- Campaign reporting
- Working alongside creative teams
- Identifying winning and losing creatives
- Managing multiple advertising accounts
- E-commerce or direct-response advertising
- Campaign structure and account organisation
- Building Facebook and Instagram advertising campaigns
- Using advertising data to make better campaign decisions
A major part of your role will be identifying which ads are generating results, understanding what those winning ads have in common and communicating those learnings clearly to our Creative Strategist so we can produce more of what works.
The kind of person who will do well here
You'll enjoy this role if you're someone who:
- Is highly organised
- Naturally inquisitive
- Has great communication
- Takes ownership of their work
- Has excellent attention to detail
- Enjoys improving systems and processes
- Is comfortable working in a fast-moving environment
- Wants to develop their career within performance marketing
Progression
You'll initially take ownership of campaign building, management and reporting across a portfolio of client accounts.
As the business continues to grow, there will be opportunities to take on greater strategic responsibility and progress into senior roles.
As the team expands, this could also include helping train and oversee additional campaign managers joining underneath you.
As the business grows, we want the people who contribute to that growth to benefit from it too.
Exceptional performance, increased responsibility and meaningful commercial contribution will be recognised and rewarded financially.
Location
This is a remote-first position, although we would strongly prefer somebody based in the North West of England who can attend regular in-person team days.
You should therefore be comfortable travelling to Blackpool regularly.
Salary
£30,000–£35,000 per year, depending on experience.
