Job Summary
We are looking for a creative and skilled Graphic Designer cum Video Editor & Videographer who can produce high-quality visual content for school branding, events, promotions and social media platforms.
The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in graphic designing, videography, photography and video editing, with an understanding of current Instagram and YouTube trends. The candidate should be able to independently plan, shoot, design and edit engaging content while maintaining professional and school-appropriate standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Graphic Designing (Core Responsibility)
- Design creative posters, banners, certificates, invitations and promotional materials.
- Develop engaging social media creatives, Instagram thumbnails and YouTube thumbnails.
- Create designs for school events, celebrations, achievements, admissions and academic activities.
- Maintain consistent branding, typography, colour schemes and visual quality.
- Produce print-ready and digital designs in required formats.
2. Videography & Photography (Core Responsibility)
- Independently handle video shoots for school events, classroom activities, celebrations and promotional content.
- Capture high-quality photographs and videos of students, faculty, campus facilities and school activities.
- Plan creative camera angles, framing, lighting and compositions.
- Shoot Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, student testimonials and promotional videos.
- Handle cameras, gimbals, microphones and basic lighting equipment.
3. Video Editing & Motion Graphics (Core Responsibility)
- Edit Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, event highlights and promotional videos.
- Create engaging videos using transitions, captions, sound effects and trending editing techniques.
- Develop basic motion graphics, animated titles and logo animations.
- Apply professional colour correction, audio enhancement and visual effects.
- Deliver polished videos suitable for social media and institutional promotions.
4. Social Media Creative Content
- Stay updated with Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and emerging creative trends.
- Develop creative concepts suitable for school audiences.
- Coordinate with school departments to capture important activities and achievements.
- Create engaging, student-focused and admission-supporting promotional content.
Required Skills
- Graphic Design: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Canva.
- Video Editing: Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro.
- Motion Graphics: Basic knowledge of Adobe After Effects.
- Videography: Camera handling, composition, lighting and audio recording.
- Photography: Event photography and basic photo editing.
- Strong understanding of typography, branding, visual storytelling and social media trends.
- Ability to independently manage creative projects and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia, Visual Communication, Film Production or a related field.
- 0–1 years of relevant experience in graphic designing, videography and video editing.
- Previous experience in educational institutions or social media content creation is an advantage.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating graphic design, video shooting and editing skills.
Important Role Clarification
This position is strictly focused on Graphic Designing, Videography, Photography and Video Editing.
- Website development, coding, UI/UX designing and web-related technical skills are not required
- Candidates must demonstrate practical creative production skills, not just software knowledge.
- Preference will be given to candidates who can independently handle both graphic design and video production.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
