About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and motivated MERN Stack Developer with 3–5 years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js, along with a good understanding of application architecture, API development, and performance optimization.
Experience working on e-commerce platforms or domain-related applications will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy scalable web applications using Node.js, Express.js, MongoDB, and React.js.
- Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and efficient code following industry best practices.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and ensure seamless frontend-backend communication.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development standards.
- Containerize and deploy applications using Docker.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for performance and scalability.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
- Strong understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript (ES6+) and modern web development principles.
- Hands-on experience with Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB, including schema design, queries, and indexing.
- Proficiency in React.js, including Hooks, Context API, and Redux.
- Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design.
- Experience in developing and integrating RESTful APIs.
- Working knowledge of Git and collaborative version control workflows.
- Hands-on experience with Docker for containerized development and deployment.
- Good communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Eagerness to learn and grow within a collaborative team.
Good to Have
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Exposure to AI/ML technologies and LLM integrations such as OpenAI and Claude.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and microservices architecture.
- Working knowledge of SQL databases.
- Understanding of testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, or Cypress.
- Basic understanding of GraphQL concepts.
