We pride ourselves on delivering an exceptional, high\-energy dining experience that celebrates traditional Korean culinary arts with a modern edge. We are currently searching for a business\-focused, culturally competent Restaurant Manager to take full ownership of our venue's front\-of\-house and kitchen operations.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Directors, you will hold ultimate accountability for daily operations, financial performance, supplier relationships, and staff coordination. A pivotal part of this role involves acting as the central management bridge between our specialised Korean\-speaking kitchen team and our customer\-facing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* **Kitchen Leadership \& Synergy:** Manage, coordinate, and work in close alignment with our Head Chef and kitchen staff. Utilise fluent Korean language skills to ensure smooth back\-of\-house workflow, recipe consistency, and immediate execution of operational directives. * **Financial \& Supply Chain Control:** Oversee the restaurant budget, payroll, purchasing, manage food and labour costs, and maintain active commercial relationships with specialised Korean food and beverage importers. * **Event \& Floor Management:** Direct front\-of\-house floor operations during peak service, coordinate high\-volume table settings, and orchestrate large\-scale group bookings and catered functions. * **Patron Relations:** Proactively interface with our diverse customer base to gather feedback, ensuring service standards and traditional presentation stay top\-tier. * **WHS \& Safety Compliance:** Translate and enforce local NSW Food Authority standards and Work Health and Safety (WHS) procedures for kitchen staff, ensuring zero\-compromise kitchen hygiene and the safe handling of specialised kitchen equipment.
What We Are Looking For:
* An AQF Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Hospitality Management, OR a minimum of 1 years of full\-time experience working as a Restaurant Manager. * Professional fluency in both English and Korean is essential for this position to effectively lead, train, and manage our native Korean\-speaking kitchen team, as well as coordinate with niche suppliers. * Proven capacity to manage restaurant financials, inventory control, and staff rosters. * Excellent interpersonal and crisis\-management abilities in a demanding hospitality environment. * Full availability to work a rotating full\-time roster, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
