About this position
Pinnacle is seeking a Direct Support Professional to join our team and provide daily support to individuals with developmental disabilities. The successful candidate will have a passion for serving others and a commitment to creating a safe and inclusive environment for all.
Current Openings:
- PT Attendant Care (Eugene): 21 hours a week. M-F 3:30p-6:30p and Saturday 10:00a-4:00p. Drivers License, Reliable Transportation is required and able to transport clients.
- PT Attendant Care (Cottage Grove): 22.5 hours a week. M,Tu,Th 3-8p, W 12:45-8pm. Drivers License, Reliable Transportation is required and able to transport clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct care and support with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Ensure the individuals you support receive appropriate care for their medical and behavioral needs.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with the people you support, their families, and other stakeholders.
- Respond to emergencies and provide crisis intervention as needed.
- Follow all policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Able to pass a State of Oregon background check
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle challenging situations
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
