SUMMARY: The Branch Sales Facilitator is responsible for daily communications with customers and subcontractors for the purpose of affecting the seamless and uninterrupted conversion of jobs sold to jobs completed. The Branch Sales Facilitator serves as the “main switchboard” for all subcontracted labor for the Fulfillment Division, and the position relies heavily upon a positive interface with Operations, Service and Sales. This person will serve as the first point of contact for Pella Showroom customer walk-ins. This person contributes to branch revenue by nurturing “first-contact” events and existing sales relationships, by providing excellent customer service in whatever job capacity he/she performs and is an expert in providing prospective clients basic direction in the areas of product and installation options.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, but are not limited to:
- Responsible for the timely Opening and Closing of the Showroom daily. Maintains showroom for orderliness and neatness to ensure a favorable and hospitable setting for all customers, including but not limited to straightening and cleaning of sales displays and samples, and organizing and maintaining literature racks. Responsible for ensuring is never left unattended during normal business hours.
- Answers and accurately directs customer walk-ins for both internal and external customers by asking leading questions and prequalifying. Sets proper customer expectations regarding the retail replacement sales and fulfillment process, the Trade sales process (as necessary), and with regard to Customer Care processes.
- Qualifies walk-in customers by using a “Showroom Questionnaire” to obtain detailed information to set sales appointments for both Trade and Retail sales representatives.
- Inputs and maintains accurate information in software programs as requested by management, capturing data related to leads/opportunities, showroom traffic, and scheduled appointments.
- Has a working knowledge and understanding of necessary integrated systems and processes; practices self-development via online courses and monitors MyPella.com for product updates. Maintains awareness of Pella products.
- Plan or assist with showroom events, consumer home show events, collaborating with Marketing as needed. May demonstrate product in showrooms and/or consumer home shows, using samples or catalogs, emphasizing features and benefits of Pella® products.
- Interface with installation teams, sales, sales support, operations, accounting and human resources departments
- Designated point of contact upon completion of the sale with 100% responsibility for all follow-up questions (both internally and externally)
- Manage recovery process for shortages and damaged products. Facilitate by ordering parts and/or scheduling service appointments as needed
- Collect customer payments as needed. Completes sales transactions which may include handling deposits, (check and credit card payments prior to installation).
- Meets company safety requirements by keeping work area neat and clean, following all company safety policies and procedures, and reporting any safety and building maintenance concerns.
- Supports PW&D, Inc.’s key imperatives for customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with Operations/Delivery on product and samples ordered and/or taken from the Showroom. Order Samples, Office supplies and cleaning supplies as needed.
- Stay current on all product, production, and operating procedures and be knowledgeable of each department and its respective duties.
