Job Summary
A Mechanical QC Inspector performs incoming, in-process, and final inspection of mechanical components. The role involves ensuring that parts meet dimensional tolerances, specifications mentioned in engineering drawings and ensure parts comply with company quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities

Perform visual and dimensional inspection of mechanical components.

Inspect incoming materials, machined parts, fabricated components, and assemblies.

Read and understand engineering drawings with GD&T.

Use of measuring instruments such as:
1. Vernier Caliper, Outside/Inside Micrometre, Height Gauge, Dial Gauge, Bore Gauge, Feeler Gauge, Thread and Plug Gauge, Surface Gauge etc.

Carry out inspection of machining, welding, fabrication, grinding, and assembly operations.

Assist with NCR (Non-Conformance Report) preparation.

Maintain inspection and traceability records.

Support QC Engineers during customer, supplier, and third-party inspections.

Follow quality procedures, work instructions, and safety requirements.

Travelling to vendor facilities for inspection, travelling will be more than 50% of the
times.
Required Technical Skills
-
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

0-2 years of work experience.

Good knowledge of mechanical precision measuring instruments and inspection methods.

Ability to read engineering drawings.

Understanding of fits, tolerances and GD&T.

Good observation and defect-identification skills.

MS Office Excel & Word basic working knowledge is must.
