About Position:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Qt Android Developer to join our engineering team and contribute to the development of advanced mobile network testing solutions used by telecom operators worldwide. The role involves building and enhancing applications within the TEMS Pocket, TEMS Fleet, and TEMS Sense product portfolio. You will be responsible for Android application development, network testing capabilities, automation frameworks, device integrations, geolocation services, and performance optimization using Android, C++, and Qt technologies.

What You'll Do:
- Develop and maintain Android applications and product features for TEMS Pocket, TEMS Fleet, and TEMS Sense platforms.
- Build high-quality application components using C++, Qt Framework, Kotlin, and Java.
- Implement and enhance network testing capabilities including iPerf, TWAMP, Wi-Fi scanning, HTTP/FTP testing, session monitoring, and test result analysis.
- Design, develop, and improve automation, scripting, and test-execution frameworks.
- Develop controller-agent communication modules and integrate REST APIs with enterprise systems.
- Implement device connectivity and communication features across multiple mobile devices and testing environments.
- Integrate GPS, geolocation services, mapping, route history, and navigation functionality into mobile applications.
- Support voice quality testing solutions, including POLQA and AQM integrations.
- Optimize application performance, memory utilization, application responsiveness, stability, and battery consumption.
- Investigate and resolve customer-reported issues related to devices, applications, connectivity, and network measurements.
- Participate in product validation, testing, release management, defect resolution, and production support activities.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, code quality initiatives, and development best practices.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, QA, Product Management, Managed Services, and Support teams.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, architecture planning, and technical documentation activities.
Expertise You'll Bring:
- 5–10 years of experience in Android application development and software engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience in Android development using Kotlin and/or Java.
- Expertise working with Android SDK, background services, networking components, and application lifecycle management.
- Hands-on experience developing applications using C++ and the Qt Framework.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, mobile application architecture, and device communication frameworks.
- Experience in Android debugging, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and memory optimization.
- Good understanding of mobile networking technologies and communication protocols.
- Experience with network testing tools and technologies such as iPerf, TWAMP, HTTP, and FTP.
- Knowledge of Wi-Fi, LTE, and 5G technologies is highly desirable.
- Exposure to telecom, mobile measurement, network diagnostic, or performance analytics applications is preferred.
- Experience integrating GPS, geospatial services, maps, navigation, and location-based services.
- Familiarity with controller-agent architecture and device-to-device communication models.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience using Git-based development workflows and code review processes.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, Android security, application hardening, and target SDK upgrades.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with distributed global teams and multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and technical documentation skills.
