Job Description: Personal Brand Manager (Founder's Office)

We are seeking a highly strategic and creative Personal Brand Manager to take ownership of our Founder's public identity. This is not just a social media role—it is a business-critical position that involves acting as the architect of the Founder's narrative. You will work closely with the Founder to translate their vision, expertise, and the firm's successes into a compelling personal brand that attracts top-tier talent, secures key clients, and solidifies our market position .
You will sit at the intersection of public relations, digital marketing, and content strategy, ensuring that the Founder’s voice is consistent, authoritative, and influential across all platforms .
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Brand Development
- Develop a Personal Brand Strategy: Craft and execute a comprehensive strategy that aligns the Founder's personal goals with the company's revenue and growth objectives .
- Narrative and Storytelling: Define the Founder's unique value proposition and core narrative pillars. You will help the Founder articulate their "why" and use storytelling to build trust and human connection—a critical component in recruitment .
- Positioning: Identify the key topics and conversations where the Founder should be the definitive voice (e.g., talent trends, AI in recruitment, leadership, retention strategies).
Content Creation & Management
- Content Engine: Own the end-to-end content lifecycle. You will conduct weekly "content interviews" with the Founder to extract insights from client wins, failures, and industry observations, turning them into a high-quality, consistent stream of content .
- Multi-Platform Execution: Produce a variety of content formats, including:
- LinkedIn Posts & Articles: Deep dives into industry issues and thought leadership .
- Video & Reels: Short-form video content capturing the Founder's personality, client stories, or day-in-the-life snippets .
- Newsletters/Speeches: Draft content for external communications, podcasts, and industry events .
- Calendar Management: Maintain a content calendar that ensures consistent visibility and allows for timely responses to industry news and cultural moments .
Reputation & Media Relations
- Media & PR: Proactively manage media outreach and public relations. Secure speaking opportunities, interviews, and bylined articles in industry and business media .
- Reputation Management: Monitor the Founder's public image and proactively manage any potential reputation risks. Ensure all output adheres to the highest standards of professionalism .
- Community Engagement: Manage the Founder's social presence, including drafting thoughtful replies to comments, engaging with key industry figures, and surfacing high-value conversations .
Performance & Growth
- Analytics & Optimization: Track and report on key metrics such as reach, engagement, profile views, and inbound opportunities. Use data to refine the strategy and test new formats .
- Process Building: Build and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) for content creation, allowing the brand to scale without losing authenticity .
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience:
- 3–5 years of experience in personal brand management, public relations, executive communications, or content marketing .
- Proven experience managing the brand of a C-suite executive, founder, or high-net-worth individual is strongly preferred.
- Experience in the B2B services, technology, or recruitment sector is highly desirable.
- Skills:
- Exceptional Storyteller: Ability to take complex business concepts and turn them into engaging, accessible content .
- High-Level Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for tone, voice, and grammar .
- Digital Proficiency: Deep understanding of social media algorithms (especially LinkedIn), SEO principles, and content trends .
- Technical Savvy: Experience with video editing, design tools (Canva, Adobe Suite), or familiarity with AI tools for content efficiency is a plus .
- Strong Network: Established network of media contacts and event organizers is a significant advantage .
