Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of client properties to identify pest issues and assess environmental conditions.
- Present customized pest control solutions, explaining treatment options, safety procedures, and benefits clearly to clients.
- Promote and sell pest management services, ensuring clients understand the value of integrated pest management strategies.
- Operate ladders safely for access to elevated areas during inspections or treatments, adhering strictly to ladder safety procedures.
- Stay current on entomology knowledge, pesticide application techniques, and integrated pest management practices through ongoing training.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales with excellent customer service skills; background in pest control or related fields is highly desirable.
- Mechanical knowledge and experience operating ladders safely are essential.
- Familiarity with confined space entry safety procedures and respiratory protection protocols.
- Knowledge of chemical agent handling, pesticide management, and pesticide application techniques.
- Understanding of pest control chemical handling regulations and integrated pest management principles.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, farm machinery, and outdoor equipment confidently.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating company vehicles preferred.
- Experience working outdoors in lawn care, landscaping, farming or agricultural environments is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly to clients.
