We're looking for an experienced, confident and motivated Senior Client Manager / Practice Manager to join our growing accountancy practice in Lincoln.

The Opportunity
We're not looking for someone who simply prepares accounts.
We're looking for a leader.
Someone who can take charge of the day-to-day workflow, support and develop our team, maintain high technical standards and ensure our clients receive an outstanding service.
You'll work closely with the Director, taking responsibility for the smooth running of client work and helping shape the future of the practice.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading the team: Managing, mentoring and supporting accountants, bookkeepers and administrative staff.
- Reviewing work: Taking responsibility for reviewing annual accounts, corporation tax returns, VAT returns and other work before it reaches clients.
- Managing workflow: Ensuring jobs are completed accurately, efficiently and within agreed deadlines.
- Owning client relationships: Acting as a key point of contact, answering queries and providing proactive advice.
- Maintaining standards: Improving processes, identifying training needs and ensuring consistently high-quality work.
- Driving performance: Monitoring workloads, productivity, job budgets and profitability.
- Supporting growth: Working alongside the Director to develop the practice and improve the client experience.
What We're Looking For
You'll be an experienced practice accountant who is comfortable making decisions, managing people and taking responsibility.
Ideally, you'll have:
- ACA or ACCA ATT qualification, or equivalent substantial practice experience.
- Strong experience within a UK accountancy practice.
- Proven experience reviewing accounts and tax returns.
- Experience managing or supervising a team.
- Excellent knowledge of UK accounting standards and taxation.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Confidence in managing client relationships independently.
- Experience with Xero, TaxCalc and Dext would be advantageous.
