About the Company:
We are a growing, fast-paced garment manufacturing and international export house specializing in premium ladies' ethnic wear and contemporary men's apparel. As we aggressively expand our B2B digital footprint and retail networks across international hubs like the UK, Europe, and Dubai, we are building a dedicated in-house tech framework. We are seeking a skilled and proactive PHP Developer to join our team to manage, scale, and optimize our corporate web applications, internal systems, and B2B & B2C platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Application Development: Build, maintain, and scale robust web applications using Core PHP alongside MVC frameworks like Laravel or CodeIgniter.
- System Integration: Develop, optimize, and connect custom internal portals with global APIs, international payment gateways, and shipping logistics modules.
- Database Optimization: Design, scale, and maintain secure MySQL databases to handle large inventories, customer databases, and order transaction volumes.
- Front-End Coordination: Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers and front-end developers to cleanly integrate server-side logic with responsive user interfaces.
- Maintenance & Security: Debug existing codebases, perform code optimization, implementation of security practices, and patch session vulnerabilities.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of professional backend web development experience using PHP and MySQL.
- Framework Knowledge: Proven hands-on proficiency with Laravel, CodeIgniter, or advanced custom Core PHP setups.
- Web Tech Stack: Solid grasp of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX.
- Version Control: Familiarity with Git repositories or standard deployment workflows.
- Domain Focus: Prior experience handling e-commerce architectures, international B2B directories, or internal ERP systems is highly preferred.
- Mindset: Strong technical debugging capabilities, analytical problem-solving skills, and a self-driven learning attitude.
