About the Role
Hello, Paraprofessionals! Ampersand Therapy is hiring Paraprofessionals in Colorado Springs, CO to support students in a K–12 school setting. You’ll work alongside teachers and school staff to provide meaningful academic, behavioral, and social-emotional support, helping students feel confident and successful throughout their school day.

What You’ll Do
- Provide 1:1 or small-group support to students in the classroom
- Support students with academic tasks, daily routines, and classroom activities
- Assist with implementing behavior plans and classroom strategies
- Reinforce social, emotional, and communication skills
- Help students with transitions throughout the school day
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers
- Help maintain a positive, structured, and supportive learning environment
- Maintain basic documentation as needed
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience working with children or individuals with special needs preferred
- Strong communication, patience, and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow direction and support academic and behavioral plans
- School-based or paraprofessional experience a plus
- A genuine interest in helping students grow and succeed
