About the Role
Hello, RNs! Ampersand Therapy is hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) to support students in school-based settings throughout Aurora, CO. Opportunities include both 1:1 nursing and full school nurse positions. You’ll provide hands-on student care, manage health needs, administer medications and treatments, and collaborate with school teams to support student wellness and safety.

What You’ll Do
- Provide nursing care based on individual student needs and care plans
- Monitor and manage student health conditions, injuries, and illnesses
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Maintain accurate health records and ensure compliance
- Communicate with families regarding student health needs
- Collaborate with school staff, administrators, and special education teams
- Participate in IEP and 504 meetings as appropriate
- Respond to emergencies and follow school safety protocols
- Support health screenings and student wellness initiatives
What We’re Looking For
- Active Colorado State RN license
- School Nursing CDE certification or ability to obtain
- Ability to pass fingerprinting and background check
- Experience in pediatrics, school nursing, or public health preferred
- Strong clinical judgment, organization, and communication skills
