Ampersand Therapy is hiring a dedicated Special Education Teacher for a full-time position for the upcoming 2026–2027 school year in Gurnee, IL.
Position Details
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday - Friday Start Date: August 2026 Location: Woodland School District Role Type: Special Education Teacher, Self-Contained Classroom Role Details: Elementary School K-2nd grade Service Area: Instructional support, IEP collaboration, progress monitoring
Your Key Responsibilities

Provide academic support to students with IEPs in a resource setting

Develop and implement instructional strategies tailored to individual learning goals

Attend IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams

Maintain timely and accurate documentation of student progress

Participate in staff meetings and school-wide initiatives

Valid Illinois PEL with LBS1 endorsement
