Learn more at postman.com or connect with Postman on X via @getpostman.</p> <p>P.S: We highly recommend reading <a href="https://api-first-world.com/">The "API-First World" graphic novel</a> to understand the bigger picture and our vision at Postman.</p></div><h2><strong>The Opportunity</strong></h2> <p data-renderer-start-pos="5130">Postman is hiring a <strong data-renderer-mark="true">Product Partnerships Manager</strong>&nbsp;to own a portfolio of high-impact product partnerships - the people, the integrations, the launches, and the metrics that come out the other side.</p> <p data-renderer-start-pos="5473">You'll report to the Director, Product Partnerships, and operate as a hands-on <span data-highlighted="true" data-vc="highlighted-text">IC</span> owning 2-3 named partnerships across the AI infrastructure, MCP, IDE, SDK generation, or platform partner categories. You'll work with R&amp;D to build the integrations, <span data-highlighted="true" data-vc="highlighted-text">GTM</span> to launch them, and the partner directly to keep the relationship moving. You'll be measured on what your partnerships actually do for Postman users - installs, <span data-highlighted="true" data-vc="highlighted-text">MAU</span>, satisfaction, joint pipeline, partner-attributed revenue, and the depth of the integration itself.</p> <p data-renderer-start-pos="5991">This is a builder role. You'll be one of the first ICs on a small team that the Director is shaping. Comfort with ambiguity, fast iteration, and writing the playbook yourself (rather than inheriting one) is essential.</p> <h2><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></h2> <ul> <li data-renderer-start-pos="6231">Own a portfolio of 2-3 product partnership domains across AI infrastructure (15-25 partners), MCP, IDE integrations, SDK generation, or platform partners — end-to-end: strategy, partner relationship, R&amp;D integration, <span data-highlighted="true" data-vc="highlighted-text">GTM</span> motion, and impact measurement</li> <li data-renderer-start-pos="6486">Drive integration depth - sketch the integration, work with PMs and engineers on both sides to scope it, push it through to launch</li> <li data-renderer-start-pos="6620">Build joint <span data-highlighted="true" data-vc="highlighted-text">GTM</span> motions with each partner: launch comms, co-marketing, joint enablement, sales plays</li> <li data-renderer-start-pos="6724">Measure and report partner impact regularly - installs, <span data-highlighted="true" data-vc="highlighted-text">MAU</span>, joint pipeline, partner-attributed revenue, integration usage</li> <li data-renderer-start-pos="6850">Be the partner's primary day-to-day contact at Postman - own the partner relationship, run the cadence, escalate when needed</li> <li data-renderer-start-pos="6978">Position <strong data-renderer-mark="true">Postman Fabric Gateway</strong>, the <strong data-renderer-mark="true">MCP ecosystem</strong>, and <strong data-renderer-mark="true">IDE integrations</strong> into partner conversations where relevant</li> <li data-renderer-start-pos="7096">Feed insights back into the broader partner strategy and roadmap</li> <li data-renderer-start-pos="7164">Document playbooks and patterns reusable by future ICs on the team</li> </ul> <h2><strong>About You</strong></h2> <h4 id="Must-Haves" data-renderer-start-pos="7249">Must Haves</h4> <ul> <li data-renderer-start-pos="7263">5-8 years of relevant experience in product partnerships, business development, developer relations, integrations, or technical alliances at a software, platform, AI, or dev tools company</li> <li data-renderer-start-pos="7454"><strong data-renderer-mark="true">Hands-on familiarity with the AI landscape</strong> - LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, Mistral, Llama), AI gateways (LiteLLM, Portkey, Helicone), AI observability (Langfuse, Traceloop, Agentops), agent frameworks</li> <li data-renderer-start-pos="7668"><strong data-renderer-mark="true">Working knowledge of MCP (Model Context Protocol)</strong> and how agents call APIs through it</li> <li data-renderer-start-pos="7757"><strong data-renderer-mark="true">Familiarity with modern IDE ecosystems</strong> - Cursor, Windsurf, GitHub Copilot, JetBrains, <span data-highlighted="true" data-vc="highlighted-text">VS</span> Code, Amazon Q Developer - and how developer workflows begin in the editor</li> <li data-renderer-start-pos="7924">Track record of taking at least one strategic partnership from idea to launch with measurable impact</li> <li data-renderer-start-pos="8028">Comfortable in technical conversations with PMs and engineers - can sketch an integration, read an OpenAPI spec, reason about authentication and rate limiting</li> <li data-renderer-start-pos="8190">Excellent written communication - briefs, partner narratives, exec updates</li> <li data-renderer-start-pos="8268">Project management muscle - can drive a cross-functional roadmap on a partnership without needing daily oversight</li> <li data-renderer-start-pos="8385">Comfort with change and ambiguity; bias toward action; willing to write the playbook</li> <li data-renderer-start-pos="8473">Comfort with 4+ hours of overlap with Bangalore, India (willingness to take early or late PT calls)</li> </ul> <h4 id="Nice-to-Haves" data-renderer-start-pos="8576">Nice to Haves</h4> <ul> <li data-renderer-start-pos="8593">Direct experience with AI infrastructure (LLM APIs, AI gateways, AI observability), MCP, API security, gateways, or SDK generation (Fern, Stainless, Speakeasy) ecosystems</li> <li data-renderer-start-pos="8767">Engineering, PM, or DevRel background</li> <li data-renderer-start-pos="8808">Experience launching a marketplace listing, integration directory, or platform partner program</li> <li data-renderer-start-pos="8906">Prior experience at a developer-tools or API-first company</li> </ul> <p>The reasonably estimated OTE for this role is $150,000.00 to $225,000.00 plus a competitive equity package. For roles based in Bangalore, employees currently work in the office three days a week and will transition to five days per week by the end of the year.
