PRIMARY OBJECTIVE

Develop and implement asset management plans, including maintenance and replacement programs for power stations, renewables and distribution

assets across remote communities of the Northern Territory, with the goal of optimising the balance between asset performance, risk and cost.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The “WHAT” to be delivered

  • Develop, implement and monitor asset management strategies and plans for effective management of assets through their life cycle, in

accordance with Power and Water’s Asset Management System.

  • Assist the Manager Asset Strategies and Risk (Generation) in developing and reporting on the maintenance and refurbishment program and

budgets.

  • Analyse and report on asset condition, performance and reliability
  • Investigate and report on asset failures including root cause analysis, preventative and corrective actions. Implement assigned corrective actions

related to maintenance strategies and plans.

  • Develop spares strategy and contingency plans, as required.
  • Consult with Power Services staff and other stakeholders to identify areas of improvement on existing asset management processes
  • Willingness and ability to travel to remote communities via road or light aircraft.

SELECTION CRITERIA

Qualification and Skills Experience

Essential • Mandatory minimum 3 or 4 year Science or • Experience in an asset management, maintenance management, or
