Overview
The Account Manager (Outside Sales) builds productive business relationships and grows customer accounts through consultative, field-based selling. This role combines account management, B2B sales, and business development to understand client needs, present relevant solutions, and support lasting partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain customer relationships through regular outreach, meetings, and thoughtful follow-up.
- Identify prospects and account growth opportunities; plan and carry out business development activities.
- Lead sales conversations, negotiate terms, and coordinate next steps to move opportunities forward.
- Use CRM to maintain account records, track activity, and review sales information; apply analysis skills and marketing knowledge to guide outreach.
- Collaborate with colleagues and demonstrate leadership in coordinating customer needs. Your impact: customers receive responsive support and colleagues have clear account updates.
Experience
Required: Strong communication and practical account management capabilities to build trust, understand business needs, and manage sales conversations. Preferred: B2B sales or business development experience, negotiation, marketing, analysis skills, Salesforce familiarity, and leadership strengths that support effective customer relationships and account growth. Pay: $40,000.00-$151,000.00 per year
