ABOUT PREMIER PV

Premier PV, part of Primoris Services Corporation, is a leading manufacturer of solar electrical balance of systems (eBOS) solutions and renewable energy products. We design and produce innovative, reliable solutions that support the growing demand for clean energy across the United States.

Our products include wire harness solutions, combiner boxes, splice boxes, and load break disconnects used in solar installations. Since establishing operations in Crossett, Arkansas, we have continued to invest in product development and manufacturing growth, including expansion into a second manufacturing facility in Dallas, Texas.

AREAS OF INTEREST

We welcome students and recent graduates interested in engineering work related to:

  • Electrical and mechanical product design.
  • Manufacturing engineering and process improvement.

  • Quality engineering and root cause analysis.
  • Materials selection, injection molding, and tooling.

WHAT YOUR WORK COULD INVOLVE

Depending on the opportunity, early-career engineering work may include:

  • Supporting the design and development of solar electrical components and assemblies.
  • Reviewing technical drawings, specifications, and test results.
  • Assisting with product testing, analyzing data, and documenting findings.
  • Supporting investigations into product or manufacturing issues.
  • Identifying improvements to product quality, reliability, and manufacturing efficiency.
  • Collaborating with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams.

WHO SHOULD CONNECT WITH US

We encourage interest from individuals who are pursuing or have recently completed a bachelor’s or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Science, Plastics or Polymer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

We value:

Relevant coursework, academic projects, laboratory experience, student design teams, internships, and co-ops are welcome examples of your experience. Prior full-time engineering experience is not required to join this talent community.

LOCATIONS

Potential opportunities may be associated with our operations in Dallas, Texas, and Crossett, Arkansas. Work location, on-site expectations, and any travel requirements will be outlined in individual job postings.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must comply with client safety requirements (e.g., clean-shaven, long sleeves, steel-toe boots).
  • Must pass a physical exam if required.
  • Able to: Climb and maintain balance on ladders, scaffolding, and stairways. Stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and work at heights or in confined spaces (e.g., towers, vessels, excavations). Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. (Use assistance for heavier loads). Stand or walk for extended periods on uneven surfaces (dirt, concrete, asphalt, mud, gravel).
  • Must be able to wear a respirator and other PPE when required.

WORK LOCATION:

  • Industrial construction sites and/or fabrication shops.

MOBILITY BARRIERS:

  • Uneven ground
  • Obstructed pathways
  • Work at low/high elevations
  • Confined workspaces

ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS

  • Predominantly outdoor work
  • Exposure to: Extreme heat or cold Humidity, rain, and other weather conditions Loud noise from tools and machinery Potential chemical exposure
