This is a rare opportunity to join a fast-growing North American packaging company at exactly the right moment — and become one of the core people who drives what comes next.

About Fastik

Fastik Label & Supply Inc. is a dynamic packaging company specializing in the printing and converting of flexible packaging films, primarily for goods sold at retail across North America. With operations in Langley, BC, Arizona, and North Carolina, we combine leading-edge equipment, advanced technology, and skilled teams to support our customers and grow together.

We are in an active period of expansion — developing new markets and growing our US footprint. The team being built right now will be the core team that drives that next chapter. This role is part of it.

The Role

A Job Planner/Engineer at Fastik sits at the intersection of Sales and Production. You are the person who takes a customer requirement or a sales opportunity and turns it into a real, executable plan — the right material, the right process, the right sequence, on time.

You will work directly alongside our senior operations leadership, learning what we make, how we make it, and why we make the decisions we do. Over time you will become the connective tissue between our sales team and production floor — the person everyone relies on to move things forward.

This is not a job for someone who wants to sit still. It is a job for someone who wants to learn fast, contribute meaningfully, and grow with a company that is going somewhere.

What You Will Do

  • Intake new jobs and sales opportunities, assess priorities, and coordinate internally between Sales and Production
  • Build and manage job specifications — materials, structures, equipment routing, tooling requirements, and ink systems
  • Ensure customer requirements are accurately captured and communicated to Operations
  • Work with senior operations leadership to stage materials and sequence jobs efficiently
  • Learn the technical details of every job order — manufacturing processes, material capabilities, and equipment requirements
  • Track job status and catch issues before they become problems
  • Maintain accurate job documentation and specifications in company systems
  • Use AI tools as part of your daily workflow to make faster, smarter decisions
  • Support continuous improvement of planning, workflow, and job execution processes

What We Are Looking For

Non-Negotiable

  • You are an action-taker — when something needs to happen, you make it happen
  • You have strong people skills and can work comfortably across a sales team and a production floor
  • You have genuine commercial awareness — you understand urgency, opportunity, and business context without needing it spelled out
  • You have the ability to learn and retain technical information — once you are taught something, it sticks
  • You are tech-savvy and genuinely excited about using AI tools to do your job better
  • You can manage multiple competing priorities without losing the thread

Nice to Have

  • Background in packaging, printing, manufacturing, or a related industry
  • Experience working with product specifications, equipment processes, or materials
  • Prior experience in a coordination, planning, operations, or project support role

What We Offer

  • A seat at the table — you will be part of the core team driving Fastik's growth across North America
  • Direct mentorship from senior operations leadership from day one
  • Structured onboarding combined with real, hands-on learning
  • A workplace that actively embraces AI and modern tools — you will not be stuck doing things the old way
  • Room to grow as the company grows
  • Competitive salary from CA$66,000 per year
  • Full benefits package including dental, vision, disability, and life insurance
  • RRSP match
  • Paid time off and company events
  • On-site parking
