We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to manage and supervise the complete production process of wooden patterns. The candidate will be responsible for production planning, manpower management, pattern manufacturing, quality inspection, timely completion of jobs, and ensuring smooth and efficient production operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and monitor daily production activities.
- Prepare pattern manufacturing plans according to production requirements, drawings, models, and delivery schedules.
- Manufacture wooden patterns according to the approved model, drawing, or layout and required specifications.
- Manage the complete manufacturing process of wooden patterns from drawing/layout to final inspection.
- Ensure production targets are achieved within the given timeline.
- Supervise and allocate work to carpenters, pattern makers, helpers, and other production staff.
- Read and understand engineering drawings, dimensions, models, layouts, and pattern specifications.
- Ensure accuracy and quality of wooden patterns as per customer requirements.
- Conduct quality inspection of finished patterns to ensure dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and compliance with approved drawings/specifications.
- Coordinate with Design, Quality, Purchase, and Maintenance departments.
- Monitor raw material consumption and minimize material wastage.
- Maintain proper production records, job cards, and daily production reports.
- Identify production issues and take corrective actions to avoid delays and rework.
- Ensure proper maintenance and safe operation of machines, tools, and equipment.
- Implement workplace safety and housekeeping standards.
- Monitor worker performance, attendance, productivity, and discipline.
- Train and guide workers to improve productivity and workmanship.
- Ensure finished patterns are properly inspected and ready for dispatch.
- Continuously improve production processes, efficiency, productivity, and cost control.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma / ITI / Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Production, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Strong experience in wooden pattern making / foundry pattern manufacturing/Aluminum pattern manufacturing.
- Good knowledge of woodworking machinery, tools, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to understand technical drawings, models, layouts, and measurements.
- Strong production planning and manpower-handling skills.
- Good knowledge of quality control and workplace safety.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Good communication and team-management skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and production reporting is preferred.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
