Job Summary:

NF Manufacturing Services Ltd. is seeking a Production Operations Manager to lead day-to-day manufacturing activity and maintain a steady flow of work across the production environment. The position will focus on people, output, resources, and operational priorities while supporting dependable quality and efficient use of production capacity.

What You'll Do:

  • Direct daily production activities across assigned manufacturing areas
  • Set output priorities according to orders, capacity, and operational requirements
  • Coordinate supervisors, production teams, and supporting functions
  • Review production volumes and respond to emerging capacity constraints
  • Ensure materials, equipment, and labour requirements are considered in production plans
  • Work with maintenance, quality, warehouse, and supply teams to minimise disruption
  • Investigate recurring production delays and coordinate practical solutions
  • Support changes to production methods, layouts, or working processes
  • Review operational information to understand productivity and output trends
  • Maintain appropriate production records and management information
  • Guide teams in improving workflow, consistency, and day-to-day performance

Requirements:

  • Experience in manufacturing, production operations, industrial services, factory operations, engineering, or a related environment
  • Strong operational leadership and people-management abilities
  • Good understanding of production workflows and resource coordination
  • Ability to manage changing workloads and manufacturing priorities
  • Practical problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Confident communication across production and support teams
  • Comfortable working with production data, schedules, and operational systems
  • Previous management or substantial supervisory experience is advantageous
  • Manufacturing, engineering, operations, or related qualifications are beneficial, with suitable practical experience also considered

Pay: £58,000.00 per year
