About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and technically strong Technical Project Manager with 5+ years of overall experience to lead and manage end-to-end software development, AI/GenAI, and enterprise technology projects. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of modern technology stacks, Agile methodologies, and software development lifecycles, along with strong stakeholder management, project planning, and execution capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end project delivery, including requirement gathering, planning, execution, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
- Work closely with development teams, solution architects, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders.
- Translate business requirements into detailed technical requirements, user stories, deliverables, and project milestones.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, resource allocation, risk registers, and status reports.
- Drive Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Coordinate multiple parallel projects while ensuring timely delivery, quality, and adherence to agreed scope.
- Identify project risks, technical dependencies, and bottlenecks, and proactively implement mitigation strategies.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring effective communication, expectation management, and timely escalations.
- Collaborate with technical teams on solution architecture, API integrations, cloud deployment, and application development.
- Ensure proper project documentation, including BRDs, SOWs, technical specifications, and release plans.
- Track project performance, resource utilization, delivery timelines, and overall project health.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of overall professional experience, preferably in software development, technical project management, or technology delivery.
- Proven experience managing software development projects and cross-functional technical teams.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
- Good technical knowledge of frontend, backend, databases, REST APIs, microservices, and cloud architecture.
- Familiarity with technologies such as Python, Java, Node.js, React, PostgreSQL, and AWS/Azure.
- Exposure to AI/ML, Generative AI, LLMs, and Agentic AI applications will be an added advantage.
- Experience using project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, or similar platforms.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Ability to understand technical architecture, coordinate engineering discussions, and manage technical dependencies.
- Experience working directly with enterprise customers and managing multiple project deliverables.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience as a Software Developer, Technical Lead, or Engineering Project Coordinator.
- Experience delivering cloud-based applications, enterprise platforms, or AI-driven solutions.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and production deployment processes.
- Certifications such as PMP, CSM, PSM, or equivalent.
- Experience working in a fast-paced startup or technology services environment.
