Position: Cybersecurity Engineer – Fresher
Experience: 0–1 Year
Location: Hyderabad
Employment: Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor security alerts, logs, and network activity.
- Assist in identifying and responding to security incidents.
- Perform basic vulnerability assessment and security testing.
- Support endpoint, network, and cloud security operations.
- Investigate suspicious activities and prepare incident reports.
- Follow cybersecurity best practices and security policies.
- Work with senior security engineers to resolve security issues.
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of Cybersecurity fundamentals, TCP/IP, networking, Linux and Windows.
- Basic knowledge of SIEM, SOC operations, firewalls, IDS/IPS and vulnerability assessment.
- Familiarity with Python or scripting is an advantage.
- Knowledge of common security threats, OWASP and ethical hacking concepts.
- Good analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
Eligibility:
- B.Tech/B.E./M.Tech/MCA in Cybersecurity, CSE, IT or related fields.
- Freshers with relevant projects, certifications or hands-on labs are encouraged to apply.
Preferred Certifications:
- CompTIA Security+, CEH, Google Cybersecurity Certificate or equivalent.
