As our client portfolio continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced Optimizely Developer to join our talented development team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on enterprise\-level websites, digital platforms and customer experience solutions for a wide range of clients.

**The Role**

We are seeking an experienced Optimizely Developer who has a passion for building high\-quality, scalable digital solutions. You will work closely with Business Analysts, Project Managers, Designers and fellow Developers to deliver modern web applications and content management solutions.

Whilst the primary focus is Optimizely, experience with Umbraco is highly desirable, together with a strong understanding of various modern CMS platforms and best development practices.

This is a hands\-on development role where you'll have the opportunity to contribute throughout the full software development lifecycle, from solution design through to deployment and ongoing support.

**Key Responsibilities**

Design, develop and maintain websites and web applications using Optimizely CMS.

Develop and customise content management solutions to meet client requirements.

Work with Umbraco CMS projects where required.

Build reusable, scalable and maintainable code following industry best practice.

Develop integrations with third\-party systems, APIs and enterprise platforms.

Collaborate with UX/UI Designers to deliver responsive, user\-friendly websites.

Participate in technical design sessions and solution architecture discussions.

Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers where appropriate.

Diagnose and resolve software defects and performance issues.

Produce technical documentation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Support testing, deployment and post\-implementation activities.

Work collaboratively within Agile development teams.

**Essential Skills \& Experience**

Commercial experience developing with Optimizely CMS.

Strong C\# and .NET development experience.

Experience with ASP.NET Core and MVC.

Experience building and maintaining CMS\-driven websites.

Good understanding of HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript.

Experience with SQL Server.

Experience consuming and developing REST APIs.

Familiarity with Git version control.

Strong problem\-solving and analytical skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

**Desirable Skills**

Commercial experience with Umbraco CMS.

Experience with additional CMS platforms.

Knowledge of Optimizely Commerce.

Experience with headless CMS architectures.

Experience using Azure and Azure DevOps.

Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.

Experience with React, Vue.js or modern JavaScript frameworks.

Knowledge of Search \& Navigation (Find/Search \& Navigation).

Experience with performance optimisation and website security.

Familiarity with Azure App Services and cloud\-hosted solutions.

Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments.
