PR Manager – Media & KOL

About the Role
We are looking for a strategic and hands-on PR Manager to lead media relations and KOL initiatives across our growing portfolio of lifestyle, hospitality, wellness, and premium brands. This role combines strategic thinking, strong industry relationships, client management, and team leadership. You will be responsible for turning client objectives into compelling PR and KOL strategies, while ensuring smooth execution and strong campaign results.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and lead PR and communication strategies tailored to client objectives, brand positioning, and target audiences.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media, KOLs, talent agencies, clients, vendors, and other key industry stakeholders.
- Lead media relations activities and strategies, including media pitching, press releases, interviews, event coverage, and publication monitoring.
- Develop and oversee KOL strategies, from talent identification and recommendation to negotiation, campaign execution, and performance evaluation.
- Lead the development of PR proposals, campaign concepts, presentations, and client pitches.
- Manage and oversee PR and KOL events, ensuring seamless coordination from planning through on-ground execution.
- Lead and mentor the PR team, ensuring projects are delivered to a high standard and within agreed timelines.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, resources, and deliverables while maintaining healthy project margins.
- Monitor campaign performance and develop strategic insights and recommendations for clients.
- Stay updated on media, KOL, lifestyle, and communications trends to identify new opportunities for clients.
- Act as a trusted strategic partner to clients and contribute to long-term account growth.
- Work with the Creative, Finance, and Business Development teams to ensure smooth workflow.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in PR, communications, media relations, KOL/influencer marketing, or a related agency environment.
- Strong media and KOL network, particularly across lifestyle, hospitality, beauty, wellness, fashion, or premium brands.
- Proven experience in developing and executing integrated PR and KOL campaigns.
- Experience managing clients, projects, budgets, and teams.
- Strong strategic thinking with excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail with a good understanding of brand positioning and storytelling.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- A strong network and passion for fashion, beauty, and the luxury lifestyle, hospitality, wellness, and premium sectors would be an advantage.
