Job Summary
We are looking to hire an experienced manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our coffee shop. The responsibilities include processing payments using the Point of Sale System and ensuring that the Caffè is clean and well-presented at all times. You should also be able to oversee the maintenance and repair of Caffè equipment.
To be successful as a Caffè manager, you should demonstrate exemplary management and leadership skills and ensure that the Caffè staff carries out all duties efficiently. Ultimately, an exceptional Caffè manager should be able to achieve excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage daily Caffè operations, including opening and closing procedures, service flow, cleanliness, ambience, and overall presentation.
· Ensure service standards reflect the luxury brand image and provide a personalized experience for every guest.
· Build strong relationships with walk-in guests and regular customers while handling guest feedback and complaints professionally.
· Lead, train, coach, and evaluate Caffè staff to improve hospitality skills, service etiquette, and product knowledge.
· Prepare staff schedules and ensure effective team coordination to support smooth daily operations.
· Monitor food cost, beverage cost, daily sales, cash handling, purchasing activities, and inventory control.
· Identify opportunities to reduce waste, prevent stock loss, and improve operational efficiency.
· Ensure consistency in food quality, beverage preparation, presentation, and service standards.
· Monitor hygiene standards and ensure compliance with SOPs and food safety procedures.
· Conduct regular stock checks and stock opname setup safety stock while coordinating with suppliers to ensure availability of raw materials.
· Represent and maintain the luxury image of BIASA by ensuring Caffè atmosphere, music, ambience, lighting setup, and service experience align with brand identity.
· Collaborate with the Boutique Manager for events, private shopping experiences, and other brand activities to create a seamless guest experience.
· Actively review Caffè, suggest any updates/additional menu needed following customer behavior/ Caffè target market.
Qualifications
· Proven work experience of 3-5 years as a Restaurant Manager, Hospitality Manager or similar role
· Proven customer service experience as a manager
· Extensive food and beverage (F&B) knowledge
· Familiarity with restaurant management
· Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
· Acute financial management skills
· Strong management skills
· Ability to spot gaps and solve problems
· Be proactive, anticipate issue, and drive the process
Working Hours:
09:00 AM to 17.00 PM, 6 days a week.
