Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Drafter Manager to lead the Electrical Planning Department and oversee the preparation, review, and management of electrical engineering drawings and project documentation. This role requires strong technical expertise in electrical drafting software, team leadership capabilities, and the ability to coordinate effectively with an international headquarters in Europe.
The successful candidate will ensure the accuracy, quality, and timely delivery of electrical drawings and technical documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Electrical Planning Department, overseeing the preparation of electrical execution and assembly documentation.
- Oversee the preparation, revision, and review of electrical shop drawings and as-built drawings.
- Supervise the preparation of cable lists and the development of single-line diagrams (SLDs).
- Coordinate closely with the European Headquarters to align project requirements, technical standards, and engineering documentation.
- Ensure project documentation is properly maintained and updated throughout the project lifecycle, including final documentation.
- Monitor project progress, allocate resources, and adjust priorities to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
- Provide technical guidance, training, and mentorship to team members.
- Foster a collaborative and efficient working environment within the Electrical Planning Department.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical drafting, electrical design, or a related field.
- Proven experience in preparing and reviewing electrical shop drawings, as-built drawings, cable lists, and single-line diagrams (SLDs).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit, EPLAN, DIALux, and SIMARIS (mandatory)
- Practical experience using Autodesk Revit to create electrical layouts and cable tray designs.
- Minimum 2 years of international work experience or overseas education experience (mandatory)
- Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Experience in leading a team or managing technical projects.
- Ability to coordinate with international stakeholders and work in accordance with established technical standards.
Candidates from various engineering sectors, including construction and electrical engineering, are welcome, provided they meet the technical and experience requirements.
