We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Medical Scientist to join a dynamic laboratory team in Kilkenny. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a busy diagnostic service where your expertise will be highly valued and supported.
Key Responsibilities
- Process clinical specimens and perform culture and sensitivity testing.
- Support infection control efforts.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure quality control.
Qualifications and Experience
- CORU registration
- Experience in bacteriology and mycology
- Familiarity with MALDI-TOF and automated ID/AST systems
