Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced QA Tester / Software Test Engineer responsible for testing web applications, mobile applications, APIs, and financial technology platforms. The ideal candidate should have strong manual testing skills, knowledge of API testing, and experience identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects.
Experience in fintech, banking, cryptocurrency exchanges, or payment gateways will be an advantage.
Key responsibilities:
Test web applications, mobile applications, and admin dashboards.
Create and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and integration testing.
Verify user registration, login, authentication, KYC, and account management workflows.
Test deposits, withdrawals, transactions, payment processing, and wallet-related functionality.
Validate UI elements, forms, notifications, error messages, and application workflows.
Identify, reproduce, document, and track bugs until resolution.
Test REST APIs using Postman or similar tools.
Validate API requests, responses, status codes, authentication, and error handling.
Verify data consistency between frontend applications, backend services, and databases.
Test API integrations involving payment gateways, banking services, and cryptocurrency platforms.
Perform basic security testing for authentication, authorization, session management, and access control.
Validate role-based permissions and sensitive financial transaction workflows.
Test input validation, error handling, and common application vulnerabilities.
Identify potential issues involving duplicate transactions, incorrect balances, and failed or pending payments.
Coordinate with developers to reproduce and resolve security-related defects.
Skills required :
Strong knowledge of manual software testing and the software testing life cycle (STLC).
Experience with test case creation, execution, and defect reporting.
Hands-on experience with Postman for API testing.
Knowledge of HTTP methods, REST APIs, JSON, and HTTP status codes.
Familiarity with browser developer tools and cross-browser testing.
Basic SQL knowledge for database validation.
Experience with Jira, Bugzilla, or similar defect-tracking tools.
Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
Basic knowledge of web technologies, authentication, and application security.
Preferred Skills
Experience testing fintech, banking, payment gateway, or cryptocurrency exchange applications.
Knowledge of mobile application testing on Android and iOS.
Familiarity with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
Basic understanding of blockchain transactions, wallets, deposits, withdrawals, and transaction confirmations.
Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter is an advantage.

Eligibility Criteria
1–3 years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to identify edge cases and reproduce complex bugs.
Good written communication and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
