QIMEI Organic (QIMEI USA INC) is the U.S. arm of a vertically integrated grower and processor of organic and conventional fruit & vegetable ingredients. Our family has farmed since 1999 - 2,700 certified-organic acres plus 1,400 conventional, farmed with 1,600 growers - and we operate three processing facilities covering freeze-dry, air-dry, spray-dry, IQF, extraction and plant protein, certified to BRC (A rating), ISO 22000, HACCP and Kosher, passing major-brand supplier audits. We hold inventory in warehouses on both U.S. coasts.
Freeze-dried fruits and vegetables are our fastest-growing business. We signed several major U.S. programs in 2026, we are still accelerating, and we are adding a dedicated field seller to keep up.
The role
Sell freeze-dried and dehydrated fruit & vegetable ingredients - pieces, dices, powders, whole - to food manufacturers: cereal, snack, bakery, confectionery, beverage and nutrition brands and their co-manufacturers.
- Prospect and open new manufacturer accounts; work samples through R&D and procurement into commercial programs
- Spend most of your week in front of customers - this is a field role, not a home-office phone role
- Represent QIMEI at IFT, SupplySide, Expo West and regional industry events
- Coordinate specs, documentation and shipments with our sourcing and QA teams
- Keep accounts and pipeline documented in our CRM
What we're looking for
- 3+ years selling food ingredients to food manufacturers - freeze-dried, dehydrated, IQF, fruit & vegetable, or an adjacent ingredient category
- Existing relationships with R&D or procurement at food manufacturers are a strong plus, not a requirement - our product and our farm-to-factory story open doors
- Based within driving distance of a food-manufacturing cluster: the Midwest (Chicago - Minneapolis - Michigan), Southern California, or Utah / Mountain West
- Self-directed and disciplined; comfortable working with an international supply chain
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
