Qnectus is a Kennett Square\-based managed services provider delivering nine integrated IT solutions — from cybersecurity and cloud to VoIP, AI solutions, and structured cabling. We're a hands\-on team that takes pride in building real technology solutions for real businesses. As we grow our AI and automation practice, we're looking for an engineer who's as excited about solving client problems as we are.
**About the role**
You'll design, build, and deploy AI\-powered automation solutions for Qnectus clients and internal operations. This is a technical and consultative role — you'll work directly with clients to understand their workflows, then architect solutions using modern AI tools, APIs, and automation platforms. You'll be a core contributor to Qnectus's growing AI Solutions service line. This is a full\-time, in\-person position based out of our Kennett Square, PA office.
**What you'll do**
* Design and build AI\-driven workflow automations using platforms such as n8n, Make, Zapier, or Power Automate * Integrate LLMs and AI APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Microsoft Copilot, etc.) into client business processes * Work with clients to document processes and identify high\-value automation opportunities * Develop and maintain internal automation tools that support MSP operations (billing, monitoring, ticketing) * Collaborate with the managed IT and cybersecurity teams to ensure AI solutions meet compliance and security standards * Create clear documentation, runbooks, and training materials for deployed solutions * Stay current on AI tooling, model releases, and automation best practices
**What we're looking for**
* 2\+ years in a technical role involving automation, systems integration, or software development * Hands\-on experience with at least one automation platform (n8n, Make, Zapier, Power Automate, or similar) * Familiarity with REST APIs, webhooks, and data transformation (JSON/XML) * Experience working with AI/LLM APIs and prompt engineering * Strong problem\-solving skills and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions * Excellent written and verbal communication — you'll present solutions to non\-technical clients * Self\-directed and comfortable managing multiple concurrent projects
**Bonus points**
Experience in an MSP or IT services environment
Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Azure, or similar cloud ecosystems
Python, JavaScript, or PowerShell scripting skills
Exposure to RMM/PSA tools (Datto RMM, Autotask, or similar)
