Structural Steel Fitter/Fabricator
Location: York, PA Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent Shift: 1st Shift Starting Pay: $25.00/hour; higher pay may be available depending on experience.
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Structural Steel Fitter/Fabricator with hands-on structural steel fabrication experience. The ideal candidate must be able to read blueprints, perform precision fitting and welding, and work with structural steel materials while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine layout and fabrication requirements.

Perform structural steel fitting and welding according to project specifications and industry standards.

Set up and operate welding equipment, tools, and track torches safely and efficiently.

Perform fabrication and welding tasks while maintaining accuracy and quality.

Work with team members and supervisors to meet production deadlines and project requirements.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment and follow all safety procedures.
Requirements

At least 2 years of structural steel fabrication experience (required).

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.

Strong knowledge of welding techniques, equipment, and materials.

Ability to set up and operate a track torch.

Ability to pass all Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW) tests.

Welding certification (AWS or equivalent) preferred.
