Duties
- Develop original content aligned with editorial guidelines, ensuring consistency in tone and style across all channels
- Edit and proofread articles, blog posts, reports, and other materials for grammar, clarity, and accuracy
- Conduct thorough research to support factual accuracy and enhance storytelling depth
- Apply copy editing techniques to improve readability and engagement while maintaining adherence to AP style or Chicago Manual of Style as appropriate
- Manage editorial projects from conception through publication, coordinating with writers, designers, and other stakeholders
- Fact-check information diligently to uphold credibility and journalistic integrity
- Utilize content management systems (CMS) to upload, organize, and update digital content efficiently
Experience
- Proven experience in content writing, editing, or journalism with a strong portfolio demonstrating storytelling ability
- Familiarity with editorial guidelines such as AP style or Chicago Manual of Style
- Skilled in proofreading, copy editing, and technical writing with attention to detail
- Experience managing multiple editorial projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with team members and external contributors
- Proficiency in word processing tools and content management systems (CMS)
- Knowledge of research techniques and fact-checking processes to ensure accuracy in all published materials
