The purpose of this role is to provide advanced technical services including maintenance, repairs, installation, commissioning and support of scientific, laboratory and health technology equipment, ensuring the safety, reliability and effectiveness of critical healthcare technology systems.
What you'll do
In this role you will perform advanced maintenance and repair activities on scientific and laboratory equipment, install and commission specialised health technology systems, troubleshoot complex technical issues, provide technical advice and support to stakeholders, maintain accurate service documentation, contribute to service planning and prioritisation activities, mentor and support team members, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance technical service delivery.
About you
**We are searching for someone who:**
Holds an Associate Diploma, Advanced Diploma or equivalent qualification in Engineering Has advanced experience maintaining and supporting scientific, laboratory or health technology equipment Can independently diagnose and resolve complex technical issues Has strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills Is committed to quality management and continuous improvement Can provide technical leadership, mentoring and support to team members
