Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to collect, organize, analyze, and interpret data to support business decision-making. The candidate will prepare reports, identify trends, and provide meaningful insights to management and various departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, organize, and analyze business data from different sources.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports and dashboards.
- Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities from data.
- Maintain accurate and updated databases and records.
- Create data visualizations and presentations for management.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics.
- Work with different departments to understand data requirements.
- Identify data errors and ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Perform data analysis using spreadsheets, databases, and analytical tools.
- Provide actionable insights to support business decisions.
- Develop and maintain automated reports and dashboards where required.
- Assist management with forecasting, planning, and performance analysis.
- Maintain proper documentation of reports, processes, and data sources.
- Ensure data confidentiality and follow company data-security policies.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, and data analysis.
- Knowledge of SQL and database management.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools is preferred.
- Good understanding of statistics and data interpretation.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Experience: 1–4 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Freshers with strong analytical skills and relevant projects may also apply.
