The Sales and Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of retail stores while driving sales performance, profitability, and operational excellence. This role ensures that company standards are consistently met through effective leadership, strategic planning, inventory management, customer service excellence, and team development.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Management
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and maximize store profitability.
- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance and analyze trends.
- Identify opportunities to increase revenue through promotions, merchandising, and customer engagement.
- Ensure all stores meet or exceed key performance indicators (KPIs).
Operations Management
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of all assigned retail stores.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
- Monitor inventory levels, stock movement, and minimize losses through proper inventory control.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth business operations.
- Ensure stores maintain cleanliness, organization, and visual merchandising standards.
People Management
- Recruit, train, coach, and develop store managers and retail staff.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching to improve employee performance.
- Foster a positive, productive, and customer-focused work environment.
- Address employee concerns and implement corrective actions when necessary.
Customer Service
- Ensure excellent customer service is consistently delivered across all stores.
- Resolve customer complaints and operational issues promptly and professionally.
- Promote a customer-centric culture that enhances customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Financial Management
- Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and operational reports.
- Monitor labor costs, operating expenses, and overall profitability.
- Recommend cost-saving initiatives without compromising service quality.
Compliance and Safety
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, health and safety regulations, and government requirements.
- Conduct regular store audits to ensure operational and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in retail operations, with 2–3 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of retail operations, sales management, inventory control, and merchandising.
- Proven ability to lead multiple stores or retail locations.
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and people management skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and retail management/POS systems.
- Willing to travel to store locations as needed.
Pay: Php50,000.00 - Php60,000.00 per month
