Role Description
RAJGAURI Engineering Pvt. Ltd. is a leading manufacturer of Material Handling Equipment. We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Junior Design Engineer to join our engineering team.
The candidate will assist in designing, developing, and improving material handling equipment and customized industrial solutions. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in product design, engineering documentation, and manufacturing processes while working closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and development of Material Handling Equipment such as Scissor Lifts, Goods Lifts, Hydraulic Platforms, Tuggers, Conveyors, and customized industrial solutions.
- Prepare 2D drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
- Support the creation of General Arrangement (GA) drawings, fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, and Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Assist in design modifications and engineering calculations under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Coordinate with Production, Procurement, Quality, and Sales teams for project execution.
- Support prototype development, testing, and product validation activities.
- Ensure engineering drawings and documentation are maintained accurately.
- Participate in design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide technical support during manufacturing and installation activities as required.
- Follow company standards, engineering practices, and safety requirements.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of Design Engineering and Product Design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
- Understanding of machine design, fabrication processes, and manufacturing fundamentals.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced engineering environment.
