Detail Value

Job title Business Analyst

Department Delivery

Reports to Chief Delivery Officer

Experience

2–3 years in business analysis, with project coordination exposure

Location

Key responsibilities

1. Project management

  • Plan scope, milestones and resourcing; maintain the project plan and RAID log (risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies).
  • Run sprint or phase ceremonies, weekly status reviews and steering updates with clients and internal teams.
  • Track progress, budget and effort against plan; escalate slippage early with a recovery option.
  • Manage change requests: assess impact on scope, timeline and cost, and secure sign-off before work starts.

2. Business Requirement Document (BRD)

  • Run stakeholder interviews, workshops and process walkthroughs to capture as-is and to-be processes.
  • Write the BRD: business objectives, scope, functional and non-functional requirements, business rules, data needs and acceptance criteria.
  • For AI features, define expected inputs, outputs, accuracy thresholds and human-review points.
  • Keep a Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) linking each requirement to design, build and test cases.
  • Obtain formal BRD sign-off and control all later changes through versioning.

3. Functional testing

  • Write test scenarios and test cases from the BRD acceptance criteria.
  • Execute functional, integration and regression tests; log, prioritize and retest defects to closure.
  • Confirm through the RTM that every BRD requirement is present and working, with no gaps.
  • Prepare and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business users, and issue the test summary report for go-live.

Qualifications and skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering and Masters of Business Administration.
  • 2-3 years as a Business Analyst, including at least 1 years leading projects or workstreams.
  • Proven track record writing BRDs, functional specifications, user stories and RTMs.

  • Exposure to AI/ML, web and mobile application projects preferred.
  • Clear written and spoken communication; confident facilitating client workshops.
