Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Frappe / ERPNext Developer who has hands-on experience in developing, customizing, implementing, and maintaining ERP platforms.
The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of the Frappe Framework and ERPNext, along with the ability to understand business workflows and convert business requirements into effective ERP solutions.
The candidate will be responsible for developing custom ERP applications, modifying existing modules, integrating third-party systems, optimizing workflows, and ensuring smooth ERP operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain ERPNext applications using the Frappe Framework.
- Work on ERP platforms, including customization, implementation, configuration, and deployment.
- Develop custom DocTypes, Forms, Reports, Print Formats, Workflows, and Dashboards.
- Customize standard ERPNext modules such as Accounting, HR, Payroll, CRM, Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Manufacturing, and Projects.
- Develop server-side logic using Python and client-side functionality using JavaScript.
- Build custom business applications and modules based on organizational requirements.
- Integrate ERPNext with third-party applications, APIs, payment gateways, and external systems.
- Work with REST APIs, database management, and ERP data migration.
- Identify and resolve bugs, performance issues, and technical challenges.
- Optimize ERP workflows and automate business processes.
- Manage ERPNext installations, upgrades, deployments, and production environments.
- Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and other developers to deliver ERP solutions.
- Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and ongoing ERP maintenance.
Required Technical Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Frappe Framework and ERPNext.
- Proficiency in Python programming.
- Good knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap.
- Experience with MariaDB / MySQL databases and SQL queries.
- Understanding of REST APIs and third-party integrations.
- Experience with Linux, Ubuntu, Git, and command-line operations.
- Knowledge of ERP architecture, business processes, and workflow automation.
- Experience in creating custom reports, scripts, print formats, and dashboards.
- Understanding of ERP deployment, hosting, and server management.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with ERP implementation and customization for different industries.
- Knowledge of accounting, inventory, manufacturing, HR, and CRM processes.
- Experience with Frappe Cloud or self-hosted ERPNext environments.
- Knowledge of Docker, Nginx, Redis, and background jobs.
- Experience with ERP data migration and system upgrades.
- Ability to analyze business requirements and suggest suitable ERP solutions.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (preferred).
- 1–3 years of relevant development experience.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
