1. About the Role
OBS Digital Services is building high-impact, multi-sided platforms, including on-demand delivery apps, complex booking systems, and scalable digital marketplaces. We are looking for a dedicated React Native Developer to take complete ownership of our mobile applications. You will work closely with our React web frontend developer and Python backend engineer to build, optimize, and launch smooth native experiences for both iOS and Android.
2. Key Responsibilities
- Cross-Platform Development: Architect and build high-performance mobile applications from scratch using React Native and Expo.
- Feature Implementation: Integrate complex native features such as real-time GPS tracking, push notifications, secure local storage, and offline sync.
- Backend Integration: Consume and manage data from our custom Python/FastAPI endpoints, ensuring fast load times and proper error handling.
- App Store Deployment: Handle the complete deployment lifecycle, including code signing, managing provisioning profiles, and publishing updates to the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
3. Required Skills & Experience
- Mobile Expertise: Proven experience building and launching React Native applications (please provide links to live apps or GitHub repositories).
- State Management: Strong understanding of managing complex data flows using Redux, Context API, or Zustand across multiple screens and user types (e.g., Customer vs. Driver apps).
- UI Translation: Ability to take Figma wireframes and translate them into responsive, pixel-perfect mobile interfaces with smooth animations.
- Problem Solving: Experience debugging mobile-specific issues like memory leaks, UI thread drops, and background task limitations.
