Reporting to the Director, Beyond Insights, this position will be client facing, with the opportunity to speak to ongoing deliverables and work with cross-functional media, strategy, and technology teams. • Conduct data exploration, cleaning, analysis, visualization, and mining across structured media and marketing data sources

  • Develop quantitative analyses, predictive models, and attribution approaches that explain how media programs are performing and where to optimize

  • Craft analyses and insights that answer clients’ key business questions, and present findings directly to client and internal stakeholders

  • Partner with media, strategy, data engineering, and marketing technology teams on measurement methodology and campaign execution

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or a related field

  • 5+ years of experience in business intelligence/advanced analytics/data analytics working closely with data

  • Pharmaceutical media and marketing experience, with hands-on exposure to HCP and/or consumer omnichannel campaigns

  • Experience with statistical and general-purpose programming languages for data analysis, including the development of algorithms leveraging SQL, R or Python

  • Experience working with relational databases and with Snowflake or Databricks

  • Experience with visualization tools/packages such as Tableau or PowerBI, and with creating dashboards

  • Experience with reporting in media tools like Google Campaign Manager, Doubleclick Campaign Manager and Adobe Experience Manager

  • Experience building reports in Google Slides or Microsoft PowerPoint for presentations to senior clients externally or to senior internal stakeholders

  • Formal training/education in quantitative/data analysis, and an understanding of causal inference

  • Understanding of visual information design principles

  • Knowledge of agile principles/project management and experience with agile tools and methodologies

The Ideal Candidate

  • Creative. You are energized by turning messy, multi-source media data into clear answers to real business questions. You love asking questions and pushing hard to find answers

  • Customer first. You enjoy client-facing work and can explain your analysis and its implications to a non-technical audience

  • A collaborator. You thrive in cross-functional teams and are comfortable working across Media, Analytics, Strategy, and Technology partners

  • A culture carrier. You embody Real Chemistry’s values of Best Together, Impact Obsessed, Excellence Expected, Evolve Always, and Accountability with an “I.”
